→ Realms of the Earth: Land, water, and air are the three realms of the earth.

→ Lithosphere: Lithosphere is the realm of the earth which consists of solid crust, i.e. rocks.

→ Hydrosphere: Hydrosphere means the realm of the earth containing the water of the earth collectively.

→ Atmosphere: The realm of the air surrounding the earth is known as the atmosphere.

→ Biosphere: The narrow contact zone of land, water, and air that contains all forms of life is called the biosphere.

→ Continent: A continent is a large area of contiguous land rising above sea level.

→ Mountain: A mountain is a landmass considerably higher than the surrounding area.

→ Plateau: A plateau is a broad and rather level stretch of land rising sharply above the neighbouring lowland.

→ महाद्वीप – समुद्र तल से ऊपर उठा पृथ्वी का विशाल भूखण्ड।

→ महासागर – पृथ्वी के स्थल भाग को घेरे हुए विस्तृत जलीय भाग।

→ पृथ्वी-एक जलीय ग्रह – पृथ्वी को जल की अधिकता के कारण जलीय ग्रह कहा जाता है।

→ मैरियाना – महासागरों में सबसे गहरी खाई।

→ एशिया – संसार का सबसे बड़ा महाद्वीप।

→ पर्वत – पृथ्वी का वह क्षेत्र जो आस-पास के क्षेत्र से बहुत ऊँचा उठा हो।

→ पठार – आस-पास की भूमि से सीधा उठा हुआ विस्तृत और समतल भू-भाग।

→ प्रशान्त महासागर – सबसे बड़ा महासागर।

→ वायुमण्डल – पृथ्वी को चारों ओर से घेरे हुए वायु का आवरण।

→ जैवमण्डल – वह संकीर्ण पट्टी जहां पृथ्वी के तीनों परिमण्डल (थल, जल और वायु) एक-दूसरे के सम्पर्क में आते हैं।

→ ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤਲ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਭੂ-ਖੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ।

→ ਮੈਰੀਨਾ ਖਾਈ-ਮੈਰੀਨਾ ਖਾਈ ਮਹਾਂਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਖਾਈ ਹੈ । ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਮਹਾਂਸਾਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ 11022 ਮੀਟਰ ਹੈ ।

→ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ-ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਹਾਂਦੀਪ ਹੈ ।

→ ਪਰਬਤ-ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਖੇਤਰ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਚਾ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਰਬਤ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ।
